The Best Types of Organic Sales Funnels for Pinterest
Ciao Bella! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. 👋
Today, I’m going to jump right into sharing with you the four best types of organic sales funnels for Pinterest. When it comes to using funnels on Pinterest, there are some that work better than others. So let’s not waste any more time - let’s get started!
Printables and Digital Products
When it comes to using Pinterest for marketing, nothing works better than offering printables and digital products. The key is that they need to be less than $37 to draw in the most traffic. Most people on Pinterest are searching for things that will make their lives easier - things like mini-courses, printable templates, swipe files, or mini-courses. So by offering these things, you have a simple and easy way to draw someone directly into your site.
This is how it works. Your ideal customer first searches Pinterest for a topic. They then find your related pin and click right through to your sales page. This is what makes Pinterest so amazing! Your pin drives cold traffic directly through to your site. They know nothing about you or your business, but with a simple click, they’re exactly where you want them to be. You can grab their attention quickly with an irresistible offer - something so good they just have to have it! From there they are on your site and ready to read your compelling sales pitch.
List Growth
Pinterest can also work wonders for those who offer bigger courses or other large services. This works best for those with a price range from $97 to $297. By drawing people to your site, you not only have the opportunity to close a sale but also gain valuable email addresses to help you grow your email list. This list is key in helping grow your business and staying in touch with your audience, even if they decide not to buy right away (hello future customer!).
With list growth, the sales funnel works exactly the same. A user searches Pinterest for a topic, finds your related pin, and clicks through to your site. Once they click through, you draw them in with a blog topic that addresses their needs and offers something of value to them - the best being a freebie. Who doesn’t love something free? Within the blog post you have a call to action. This call to action leads them to a sign-up page. From there your user gains something valuable to them (a freebie!), and so do you - an email address to grow your list and keep in touch with a potential customer!
By offering something free you open up your audience to hearing more about your course or service in the future because you have already provided value to them. Pinterest is a powerful tool when it comes to list growth. I used this same strategy to grow my own list!
Tripwire
Tripwires are another amazing tool when it comes to sales funnels on Pinterest. A tripwire is a small offer, usually between $5 and $50, available to new email subscribers after they opt-in. It's meant to accelerate the buyer/seller relationship. Have you ever noticed the page that pops up after you sign up for a freebie? It goes something like this: “Hey, your freebie is on its way! While you're waiting, you can take advantage of (insert small product here) that is on sale for the next 15 minutes!” That is a tripwire.
If you already have a tripwire funnel in place, you can easily repurpose it using Pinterest. By creating a pin, you drive traffic to your site and into that specific tripwire funnel! How cool is that?
Again, the funnel works the same way. The user finds your pin, the pin leads them to your blog post, they sign up for whatever freebie you’re offering, which then leads them to your tripwire. Hello sales!
Visibility
The final funnel is visibility. You want to be visible. You want people to find you and reach out to learn more about you and your business. Pinterest is a tremendous resource for growing your business’ visibility online. By providing great content (and don’t forget value!) you draw a user in and encourage them to click through to your website. While they are there, they can explore your site and learn more about you, read your content, and find out more about your products or services.
As you can see in the diagram below, there is an email icon. By being visible and drawing traffic to your website, you open up the opportunity for having a potential customer reach out to via email. What’s better than seeing that inbox message with, “Hi! I’d love to discuss hiring you for (insert service here). I enjoyed the content on your site, and I’d like to schedule a call to learn more about how we can collaborate and develop a strategy for my business.” Cool, right? No matter who you are - copywriter, a virtual assistant, a coach - visibility is important for you and your business.
